There are some factors that can be able to cause some cough and cold for the new born infants

Some cough and colds can be frequently happened for the young children. But if it happens to the new born infants, certainly it will make the parents becomes so worried about it. Even they feel so confused how to solve this problem. The new born infant is possibly to be attacked by the cough and cold disease.

This kind of disease can be caused by some viruses from the RNA cluster (ribonucleic acid). But sometimes the bacteria can also infect the infants. There some indications when the baby having the cough and cold disease such as getting some cough without any clear indication, having nasal discharge, having runny nose, sometimes followed by body heat and fever.

This kind of disease may happens to the new born infants approximately about 2-3 days, but if it happens more than 1 week, it can be indicated that the infant gets the advance bacterial infection. Even it will cause a dangerous disease for the infant that is bronchitis. You may call the doctor as soon as possible to get the medical treatment.

How to overcome the cough and cold disease for the infants
There are some ways to care the new born infant who have cough and cold disease:

• The mother should give the breast milk for the infant and avoid to use the milk bottle. When the infant suck the breast milk, it will close the Eustachio which connects the nose and the ear.  It can reduce the risk of the ears infection caused by some bacteria in the infant`s nose and throat. 
• Do not give some antibiotic without any medical recommendations. You must consult to the doctor first to identify the kind of the bacteria infects the baby. After that the doctor will give some treatments which are appropriate for the baby.
• If the cough and cold disease is followed by fever in a high temperature or even more than 38 degree Celsius you should give the febrifuge for the baby. Don’t compress your baby with the cool water to avoid the stiff. 
• Before giving milk to the baby it will be better to remove the mucus in the baby`s nose by distillation process, claps the baby`s back smoothly in the facedown position, or you may remove the mucus in the baby`s nose by usingsnot vacuum that is available in the drug store.

To prevent the cough and cold disease, the baby should be given the influenza vaccination. It starts from 6 months old and the vaccination can be conducted periodically in every year. If the disease can cause the reducing the baby`s appetite for sucking the breast milk in more than 1 week please contact the doctor as soon as possible.
