The breastfeeding tips for the baby who is sleeping

Doing the breastfeeding to the baby who is sleeping is not easy because we have to know about some technique to avoid the rejection of the baby. Sometimes the baby will refuse to get the breastfeeding because he feels uncomfortable to get it while sleeping.  However we have to give an adequate breastfeeding for the newborn baby. It will be better to give the breastfeeding approximately about 8-12 times in a day or in every 2-3 hours.

The breast feeding position can be divided in some types based on the suitable position to do the breastfeeding. One of the positions which is difficult to do the breast feeding is while the baby spends his time to sleep. The mother often to ask about how to do the breastfeeding when the baby sleeping almost the time.
Sleeping is the nature of the baby that is very useful to develop their growth. We can use some technique about how to give the breastfeeding for the baby who is sleeping without disturb him. Let see the following useful steps to do the breastfeeding for the baby who is sleeping:
  1. Weak the baby carefully. Make sure that the baby is wake up by looking the movement of his eyes and his body. Wipe him smoothly so that he can weak up slowly and don`t let him to get some shocked when he weak up.
  2. Change his position when he sleeps, even when doing the breastfeeding. It frequently when the baby feel so sleepy therefore it makes him to sleep soundly. In this situation we can change his position smoothly, and carefully to prevent the stagnation.
  3. We can weak him up by hugging and swinging smoothly. It can be done if the baby is asleep while drinking the breast milk. The mother can change his position smoothly so that he weak up or the mother keeps talking to him to make him still awake.
Giving the breastfeeding for the baby who is sleeping can cause some problems such as the stagnation, therefore it will be better to weak up him first to prevent the stagnation. You can do the breastfeeding gradually especially for the new born baby. It can be useful to maximize the baby`s growth and to improve the immunity.
