Treat The Children Cough with Two Tea Spoons of Honey

Parents do not have much choices a safe drug to treat the children's fever and cough. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Food and Drug Administration in the United States also said the drugs of fever and cough which are sold on the market can not reduce the children’s cough under 6 years old.

In a research, a total of 270 children aged 1-5 years who suffered cough at night were given one of three types of honey, eucalyptus honey, citrus honey, and labiatae honey, also a fluid with honey extract. Vic Mali, MD, a pediatrician at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan also believes the new findings of this research are very helpful for parents to reduce the children’s cough. So If your baby has a cough that is persistent, and want their sleep be sound without disturbance of the cough, you just give as much as two teaspoons of honey before they sleep. All types of honey have remarkable properties, so you as a parent  just choose which one is the preferred flavor of your baby.
