The woman`s Fertile Period After Childbirth

It is important to know the woman`s fertile period after the childbirth, both normal and caesarean. It is often to be found that after the childbirth process a woman`s genital will become very sensitive or even getting trauma. A woman who is giving suck may have a vaginal atrophy (the depletion of the vaginal organ system or the vaginal drying because of the estrogen hormone decreasing).

To conduct the sexual intercourse, it is better for us to wait for in several weeks or even more than 4 weeks because after 6 weeks the woman genitals will stop to produce the childbirth liquid remaining. During this phase can we get a pregnancy again?

The woman will get the fertile period after the childbirth which is happens in 40 days (there is no blood produced by the woman`s genital). The woman can get the pregnancy again after that phase. If we want to delay the pregnancy, it is better for us to use the contraception when conduct the first sexual intercourse.

Not all the woman will get the menstrual cycles soon after the childbirth. This is a normal condition for the woman although there is no menstrual cycle in several month after the childbirth, it doesn’t mean that the woman haven’t get the fertile period yet. And it is important to use the contraception to manage the pregnancy.

The woman can get some menstrual cycle change after the chilsbirth. For example she will have the change of the menstrual cycle length. It will be very different before she get the pregnancy. We shouldn’t be worry about that because the change of the menstrual cycle after the childbirth will be affected by hormonal factor.

The woman fertile period after the childbirth will be indicated by having the first menstrual cycle (10 weeks after the childbirth or can be 6 months until one year after childbirth). It is started by having the PMS symptom such as the stomach cramp. This symptom can be treated naturally without any drug consuming.

Summary:
  • The woman will get the fertile period after 6 weeks, 6 month, or even 1 year after the childbirth.
  • The woman will have a menstrual cycle change after the childbirth. Certainly it will be different with the menstrual cycle happened before the pregnancy.
