Having a good and healthy sitting position for the pregnant woman is simple, but if it is not be done in a right way, it will influence the pregnant woman`s health. Moreover for the woman who has the first pregnancy or the woman who has a miscarriage for so many times, they have to be more protective and careful for each movement they have done. Recently some research found that the pregnant woman who stand for a long time will have a small and thin baby.

Therefore if the woman wants to sit in a long time, she must take a good position which is safe and comfortable for her pregnancy. A good sitting position can be used to reduce the risk of having back pain or the lower abdominal pain, these problems may frequently happen for the pregnant woman during the pregnancy. There are some tips for having a good and healthy sitting position for the pregnant woman.
  1. The best sitting position for the pregnant woman is by straightening her back to the back ward. It is good for the pregnant woman`s health because the pregnant woman`s weight will have some weight improvement which has a great influence for the woman`s muscles and ligaments, thereforeto get a good sitting position for the pregnant woman is difficult. But by having a straight position will help the pregnant woman to be more comfortable and it can be used to avoid the back pain during the pregnancy.
  2. You can get a good position of sitting by leaning on your body (buttock, back, and shoulders) on the chair or sofa therefore the pregnant woman will feel more comfortable and it can be used to reduce the back pain for the pregnant woman.
  3. When sitting on the chair, it will be better for the pregnant woman to balance her weight because during the pregnancy the woman`s foot will have some pains because of the improvement of her weight. When sitting or standing, the pregnant woman must balance her weight on both of her food, and she must divide her weight on both of her hips. This technique can help her to reduce the risk of having the foot pain.
  4. The pregnant woman shouldn’t do the same sitting position in more than 30 minutes to smoothen the woman`s blood stream and to avoid some joints pains.
  5. For those who work at the office, they should do some foot stretching frequently or they can try to walk around their desk in every hour.
Besides considering the sitting position, the pregnant women must consider their food consumption, sleeping position, gaits, and other trivial things that is so important to be considered.
