Some tips which are useful for the pregnant woman to overcome the problems of insomnia

Insomnia becomes the common problem for the pregnant women, even almost all of the pregnant women will get this problem especially in the third trimester of pregnancy. This problem is caused by the condition of the woman`s stomach that is being bigger, the movement of the fetus or some pain in the heartburn.

Some pregnant woman who get the problem often to think about how the condition of the fetus in the woman`s womb? But you shouldn’t be worried about that. Some expert state that although having an adequate rest is very useful for the pregnant woman, but if the woman gets some problems about insomnia will not be very dangerous for the fetus.

There are some tips which are very useful for the pregnant woman to overcome the problems of insomnia:
  • The most suitable sleeping position for the pregnant woman is the left sideway. It will improve the oxygen level of the blood circulation and some nutrition supply to the placenta. 
  • The pregnant woman can use the warm water when she takes bath, after that use the fragrant soap which can help her to sleep well.
  • Avoid consuming a lot of food at night because it will create some pains on the heart burn and stomach. If the woman becomes hungry, she can consume some snacks or milk.
  • Doing some exercise (Yoga, walking, or pilates) gradually in every day for 30 minutes. It can make the pregnant woman becomes more relax and can be able to sleep well.
  • Listening to the music can be an alternative way to make the pregnant woman becomes more relax, therefore she can be able to sleep well.
  • The sexual intercourse can be used as an alternative way to overcome the problem of insomnia. After having the sexual intercourse activity the woman can feel more relax, therefore she can be able to sleep well.
  • Doing a deep breath to reduce tension of the muscle and it can be used to overcome the problems of insomnia. This activity can be done by sitting on the chair, standing, or lie down. You can start this activity by inhale the oxygen using your nose smoothly, than hold it for 1-2 seconds then exhale through the mouth. You can this activity for many times therefore you will be more relaxed.
Most of the pregnant woman will have some insomnia. Therefore you have to be more patient, and learn to be enjoyed with this condition during the pregnancy. To keep the condition of the body becomes fit you can take an adequate rest.

  • The insomnia for the pregnant woman can be caused by the condition of the woman`s stomach that becomes bigger, the movement of the fetus or some painful in the woman`s heartburn. 
  • Most of the pregnant woman will get the insomnia therefore they should be patient to face this problem.
  • Taking bath using warm water, do not eat a lot of food at night, and conducting the sexual intercourse can be ta good solution for the pregnant woman who get the insomnia.
