Tips for having a normal childbirth process for the women who have a narrow pelvic

The narrow pelvic condition often make the woman becomes worried. It happens because if the woman has a narrow pelvic, she will have some difficulties to get a normal childbirth process. This condition can be found when having a medical check-up during the pregnancy. The narrowing pelvic condition is not based on the woman`s pelvic anatomy, but it is based on the functional comparison between the baby`s head and the woman`s pelvic.

The narrowing pelvic condition can be categorized in 4 types:
  • The narrowing of the upper pelvic
  • The narrowing of the bottom pelvic
  • The combinative narrowing of the upper pelvic
  • The narrowing of the middle pelvic and the bottom pelvic
The narrowing pelvic which happens to the pregnant woman will affect the woman`s health related to the woman`s pelvic growth. Those problems can be described as follows:
  • The woman`s spine abnormalities
  • Abnormalities in the shape of the lumbar spine
  • The woman who has a bone inflammation will have a high risk to get a serious problems on her pelvic.
  • The woman will have a defective bone joints and foot shape abnormality.
  • The woman whose height is less than 145 cm will have a high risk of having a narrowing pelvic problem although it is rarely happened.
The narrowing pelvic which happens to the pregnant women will encourage them to have some problems:
  • The problems of the blood circulation or the primi gravida fundus which is cause by the obstruction of the baby`s head.
  • The obstruction of the baby`s health in the early phase of the childbirth process.
  • The woman will have a high risk of having a breech baby born.
  • Having a small size baby born,
  • Having a longer normal childbirth process.
  • The woman will have some problems of the opening childbirth process,
  • Having a premature rupture membrane.
The normal childbirth process for the woman who has a narrow pelvic

The determinant factors for having a normal childbirth process are depended on the woman`s straining power, the infant`s weight, the infant`s position before the childbirth process, the medical history, the condition of the pregnant woman`s health and the woman`s age. According to those factors, the woman who has a narrow pelvic shouldn’t be worried because the normal childbirth process is still available by considering these following condition:
  • The infant`s head is in a proper position before the childbirth process,
  • The woman has a strong straining power,
  • The woman has a good condition without having any dangerous medical history,
  • The infant has a smaller size than the woman`s pelvic.
The caesarean section will be done for the woman if there is a dangerous condition for the woman and her infant, and if the woman have a very small pelvic size.

The narrowing pelvic condition can`t be avoided because it is affected by the woman`s genetic factor. But the woman still have a chance to get the normal childbirth process by conducting some preparations in the beginning of the pregnancy:
  • Doing a regular medical check-up to observe the infant`s growth and the woman`s pelvic condition.
  • Controlling the infant`s weight and the woman`s weight by reducing the consumption of the sweet snacks.
  • Doing some exercise or pregnancy exercise to improve the woman`s fitness and to enhance the woman`s health.
  • Doing a further medical check-up if there is a narrowing pelvic condition in the beginning of the pregnancy.
Summary:
  • Amount of the woman who has a narrow pelvic will have a caesarean section,
  • The pregnant woman who has a narrowing pelvic condition can have a normal childbirth process by considering some condition which need to be completed,
  • The normal childbirth process for those who has a narrowing pelvic condition can be planned in the beginning of the pregnancy.
