Contraception is a tool that is used to prevent the ovum insemination. Therefore the planning of the pregnancy can be managed well. There are many kinds of contraception which is available in the drugstores and clinics. There are two kinds of contraception based on the period of usage. The first is temporary contraception (Reversible) and the second is permanent contraception. We can choose one of them which appropriate for us. It depends on the human`s needs.
The contraception is not only be used for the woman who has just give birth and wants to manage the pregnancy planning but also be used for the couple who wants to delay the pregnancy because of a certain reason.
To decide what the contraception will be used, the woman should have a great consideration for choosing an appropriate one. Some contraception may have side effects. It will better to consult the doctor before decide to use a certain contraception. These are the following example of contraception which can be used by the
woman.
The contraceptive tablets, this is a kind of contraception which is very economic, and safe to be used. The use of the contraceptive tablet will cause some negative effects such as queasy, headache, overweight and some acne.
Injective Contraception is a method which can be used by injecting a certain hormone in the woman1s body. There are two kinds of injective contraception the first is one monthly injection and two monthly period of injection.
Implant Contraception, this is a kind of contraception which is putt into the arm skin. It will spread some hormone affect the
woman fertile therefore the pregnancy can be avoided.
The Vaginal Ring, is one of the contraception methods which is very flexible to be used. It can be used by putting the vaginal ring into the woman`s vagina. The diameter of this contraception is about 5 cm. The way how to install this kind of contraception is by pressing the two sides of the ring together and it can be removed after 3 weeks. After removing this kind of contraception, the woman will have the menstrual period. The ring will spread the estrogen and progesterone hormone which can be used to prevent the pregnancy. But it also has some side effects for the user such as vaginal infection which can be treated for several months. Therefore we must consult to the doctor before use it.
Sponge contraception, this kind of contraception is like a sponge which is put inside of the vagina for some hours before conducting the sex intercourse. And make sure that it still leaved inside the vagina for 30 hours after conducting sex intercourse. It has a function to protect the ovum from the insemination. The negative sides of the sponge usage are that the sexual disease infections cannot be avoided, and it can make some vaginal irritations. Therefore it is very susceptible to the microbe infection.
Condom, this contraception has a cylinder shape like a plastic bag which has rings on its tip. On one side there is an open ring as a way where the penis can put inside of the condom trough this side. And another ring is closed to hold the penis when entering the cervix.
Diaphragm is a contraception whose shape is like a bowl made from an elastic material. It has so many sizes. Therefore we may choose one of them which has an appropriate size. It can give a protection from the pregnancy and cervix cancer. The negative sides of the diaphragm are that it is ineffective to be used because we have to put the diaphragm inside of the vagina for 6 hours after doing the sexual intercourse.
IUD contraception is a kind of contraception which is put inside of the uterus. Many people prefer use it because it is very effective to prevent the pregnancy. The IUD will spread some hormone that has a function to prevent the pregnancy. The
IUD Contraception can be used for 3 years.
Sterilization/tubectomy is a permanent contraception which is seldom to be used by the woman, because if the woman will not get the pregnancy after doing the sterilization.it is done by cutting or closing the ovum duct which is stretching from the uterus to the ovary. This method can also be done for the men by cutting or closing thesperm duct therefore the men cannot produce the sperm anymore.
