The second trimester is where the pregnant woman enters the 4th-6th months of pregnancy. In this period, the pregnant woman can enjoy some foods and beverages without any queasy like in the beginning of the pregnancy. During the second trimester, the pregnant woman should be able to maintain her weight by consuming some foods that contains a balance nutrition.

The need of nutrition for every pregnant woman will have a different portion, but the nutrition and vitamin supply is not very different. In 4-6 months of pregnancy, the pregnant woman is recommended to consume some foods that contains some vitamin, protein, and some kind of food which can improve the blood value, therefore the pregnant woman can avoid the risk of having anemia.

One of the vitamin which most needed during this period is the vitamin D and calcium, therefore the growth of the baby`s bone and teeth can be optimized. The pregnant woman needs to consume some foods which contains a high omega 3 fat acid to optimize the development of the baby`s brain.

The fetus needs some nutrition which is very important for his growth, and the development of his brain and body. Even there are some researches which have proved that the brain will grow optimally when the fetus is in the first of 2 years of age include when the fetus is still in the woman`s womb. There are 5 kinds of foods which very important to be consume by the pregnant woman:

Red meats

The protein in the red meat is very important for the pregnant woman to synthesize the albumin. The function of albumin is to pull the fluids in the blood veins and take it out of the tissue. If the blood veins contain a lot of fluids, it will make some Edema on the foots, hands, and the pregnant woman`s face. Besides the red meat, the pregnant woman can consume many kinds of foods which contain a lot of protein such as soybean, almond, beans, lentil, and quinoa.

Salt

This kind of flavor has a good role to control the volume and blood function and the amniotic fluids which protects the fetus in the woman`s womb. There are some characteristic of healthy salt, having colors such as mountain salt, sea salt, or black salt. The pregnant woman will need it a half of tea spoon in each day.

Water

The pregnant woman will need more fluids or much water which contains electrolyte and it doesn’t contain a lot of sugar. A healthy electrolyte should contain calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium. These kinds of nutrition will help the pregnant woman for managing the water and blood stream in the woman`s body.

Cabbage

Cabbage is one of green vegetable which has a function to improve the electricity power of nutrition that’s are the vitamin k, vitamin c, vitamin a, calcium and iron. This kind of healthy food will strengthen the woman`s uterus. You can consume the cabbage in many kinds of serving.

Avocado

It contains a high float which can be used to prevent the nerves tube and spina bifida in the early of pregnancy. It contains a good fat, several vitamin and minerals such as vitamin k, vitamin e, vitamin c, vitamin b6 and b5, magnesium, potassium, carotenoid, lutein, float, and fiber. Consuming avocado in the beginning of pregnancy can reduce the morning snack.
